CHILDREN MINISTRIES

NURSERY/TODDLERS (INFANT TO 4 YEARS)*
At Living Waters we believe that your child is a special gift from God, and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered nursery. We provide nursery care for infants up to two years old during Sunday morning services. Our nursery volunteers love to cuddle and care for infants and toddlers and see this as an important ministry.

Each child in our nursery receives special attention and care from a loving adult. We provide stimulating toys and activities that are appropriate for the developmental stage of each child, as well as equipping our nursery with rocking chairs, swings and bouncers. Our happy staff of volunteers loves to hold and rock the little ones who need some tender loving care, and are especially sensitive to special needs such as teething or separation anxiety. We offer a simple snack of Cheerios or crackers for infants and toddlers who are physically able. Please let us know if you have preferences other than this, as we are happy to accommodate your need.

For the children ages 2 to 4, we offer Bible-based stories and activities, introduction to Jesus and his love as exampled by our equipped staff and through interaction with other children and staff.

KIDS CHURCH (AGES 5 TO 12)*
Class designed with focus on building a foundation of Godly truth in this generation of children. (Isaiah 58 :126) We believe children can be saved (Mark 9:42 and 10:13-16) and we believe we are called to teach children. (Ephesians 4:11)

This class is strategically planned to impart Biblical principals by the understanding of each persons need for salvation through the sacrifice of God’s Son Jesus Christ and the skills to grow in Him by the power of the Holy Spirit via the use of the stories of characters in the Bible, the use of songs, memory verses, interactive crafts or games reinforcing the days focus, love of God expressed to each individual child, instruction in prayer, snack and share time, and service projects.

TEENS (AGES 13 TO 19)
This class offers encouragement, understanding and help with all that is faced in the teenage years. Teachers who coordinate all issues of growing up with bible-based truth! Friendships are established and trust is developed. Encouraged to have a deeper relationship with the Lord and to make Jesus Lord of all! Activities, trips and much more.

*These classes require the child to be signed out by their parent or guardian, to have an information sheet filled out and on file available only to pastoral and assigned teaching staff.

Teaching staff is screened by application and background checks.
